Medal glory for SSE ambassadors
05 August 2014Our SSE Ambassadors stormed to glory at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, taking home an amazing five medals between them with incredible performances on the track and in the ring. Michael Conlan, flying the flag for Northern Ireland in boxing, finished the Games in style as he knocked out gold on the penultimate day. Michael, 22, beat England’s Qais Ashfaq at bantamweight with a unanimous judges’ verdict. more »

Sign-up for safety
07 July 2014SSE Airtricity Gas NI is writing to some 120,000 customers across Northern Ireland inviting those eligible to join their Energy Care Scheme for vulnerable customers. Under the SSE Airtricity scheme natural gas customers who are homeowners and who are of pension age, are disabled (including those who are deaf or blind), or are chronically sick are eligible for a free annual gas safety check*. more »
